Financial Accounting
A complete, correct and prompt documentation of all business transactions in financial accounting provides the basis for advanced analyses and calculations, whether internally or externally. For this reason, we devote particular attention to financial accounting. We develop concepts for forms of internal and external reporting requirements. For smaller economic units that do not have to be audited, we can provide bookkeeping services and rendering of accounts. We support these clients in producing monthly accounting analyses specifically tailored to the business, in monitoring key operational figures and in planning calculations that are conducted alongside the on-going bookkeeping.
We guarantee efficient and timely management. For those clients making their own bookkeeping entries, we offer regular control and supervision of the internal bookkeeping department or the bookkeeping (i.e. in the form of quarterly financial accounting checks).
Wage Accounting
We set up wage accounting and carry out all tasks involved. We provide wage and salary accounting services, including the necessary tax and social insurance registrations, for all sizes and types of businesses. We offer competent service in dealing with problems (such as wages in the construction industry or remuneration in kind) and in enforcing legal claims arising from wage tax or social insurance audits.
The need for professional knowledge and diversity in structuring tax models is just as great in the field of wage tax. The diversity of different methods and forms of remuneration on the one hand, and the increasingly complex legal provisions and guidelines on the other have resulted in increasing attention being paid to the field of tax law models. We consequently also give advice on cross-border matters or on questions concerning company pension plans.
Annual and Consolidated Financial Statements
We advise on all current matters concerning the compilation of annual and consolidated financial statements. In this capacity, our advisory spectrum includes legal areas that are of significance to the annual and consolidated financial statements. We compile the annual and consolidated statements and accounts according to national as well as international standards of accounting.
We provide support in tax questions arising from the annual accounts as well as in the compilation of tax balances, surplus revenue accounts and appendix balances. We provide advice on preparing parts of the annual and consolidated financial statements for publication, just as we advise on the presentation of the financial statements to credit institutions or other recipients. Efficient job processing using the most modern electronic data processing techniques is our standard.
International Accounting Standards
Annual and consolidated financial statements are compiled in accordance with the regulations based on German accounting standards, but increasingly international standards are applied.
These include the European Union Guidelines and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IRFS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). Also the US-American accounting standards US-GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) are internationally recognised on account of their international prevalence.
The European Parliament and the European Council have ruled that from 2005 on, all quoted European companies are obliged to compile their consolidated financials statements according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as endorsed by the EU.
The member states can also extend these standards to the consolidated financial statements of other companies as well as individual financial statements. The actual pressure (not only on the part of the capital markets but also coming from customer and supplier relationships) to implement the new accounting standards will lead to them being adopted.
