Our Consultancy Concept

Business Planning

Within the concept of management by objectives and focus on plan-to-actual deviations, the business plan provides a necessary trigger for action to be taken.

Together with our clients, we compile planning calculations for the entire company and for important managerial decisions (e.g. large investment projects, acquisition and sale of businesses or branches and liquidations).

Within the framework of the business plans, we compile budget profit and loss accounts, budget balance sheets and liquidity plans. At the request of our clients, we check existing planning accounts for plausibility.


Outsourcing of Reporting

Reporting is instrumental in creating the necessary transparency needed for the result-oriented management of the company.

The basis of reporting is solid business planning. The plan-to-actual deviations jointly developed by management must result in the right suggestions for the course the company is to take. In this way, reporting serves as a guiding instrument for sound operating and strategic decisions.

Our clients benefit from the extensive experience we have gained in projects in different branches. Initially, we support the internal development of the reporting and accounting system with key figures, for example. The continuous reporting that we provide as an outsourced service includes the periodic presentation of our analyses and discussion of the results, concluding in the development of qualified suggestions for solutions.


Management Strategy

We take into account our clients’ success factors and their core areas of competence when developing suggestions on the direction the business should  take, on how the organisation should be structured or on optimising business procedures.

Restructuring

The aim of restructuring is to secure the existence of the business as a whole, in parts within the existing company or within the framework of a rescue company.

The basis of successful restructuring is the immediate creation of a concept, which is acceptable to all the relevant parties involved (banks, management and supervisory boards, possibly also the works council, employees, customers and suppliers) with all its consequences. For the development and presentation of the restructuring plan, we appoint management consultants with the relevant experience.

The assignment of external restructuring specialists can often be a decisive advantage for the implementation of the restructuring plan and for overcoming the acute business crisis, or even in the case of insolvency. Trust in the existing management is often impaired, especially on the side of business partners such as the banks and suppliers. For this reason we appoint or arrange experienced interim managers as needed for all areas of the business (company management, project and sector management, finance and accounting, IT, controlling, purchasing, production, logistics, marketing and sales).


Management Succession

Every year, approximately 80,000 management successions need to be organised in Germany. Regardless of whether the successor comes from the owner’s family or an outsider joins the company as an MBI or MBO, without a proper concept, the risk of failure is about 20%!

We provide assistance at every stage according to the individual situation. Our assistance begins with the search for a suitable candidate and continues through the negotiations with the applicants, the contractual terms and conditions up to the concrete process of the handover.
